World Cup: Germany's Philipp Lahm replaced due to injury during Bayern Munich cup win

Philipp Lahm, Bayern Munich, after injury in German Cup final

Uh-oh. Could the German national team -- which will face the US national team on June 26 at the World Cup -- have yet another important injury concern?

Der Mannschaft skipper Philipp Lahm limped off in the 30th minute of Saturday's DFB-Pokal final, which Lahm's Bayern Munich won 2-0 over Borussia Dortmund in extra time.

The Bayern right back was replaced by French international Franck Ribery. Details of the extent of the injury are still unknown, but he did celebrate with his teammates after the match.

German manager Joachim Low was in the stadium in Berlin, and he must have spent most of the time cursing his luck. Lahm, who has 105 caps for der Mannschaft, is just the latest injury concern for Low.

Bayern midfielder Bastian Schweinsteiger, who is dealing with a longterm knee injury, did not suit up for the final at all.
