Sporting KC's Benny Feilhaber has cheeky response to USMNT squad predictions | SIDELINE

Sporting KC's Benny Feilhaber and New England's Diego Fagundez battle

On Thursday, MLSsoccer.com's Matt Doyle, a.k.a. the Armchair Analyst, published his predictions for which midfielders will be included in US national team manager Jurgen Klinsmann's World Cup squad

All the usual names were, such as Toronto FC's Michael Bradley, Sporting KC's Graham Zusi, and LA Galaxy's Landon Donovan.

The more fringe players mentioned included Sacha Kljestan, Joe Corona, and Brek Shea.

The final entry in Doyle's breakdown is Sporting KC's Benny Feilhaber. Doyle predicts the 29-year-old attacking midifielder, who was on the 2010 US team in South Africa, has a "less than 5 percent" chance of making the squad.

To which Feilhaber responded thusly on Twitter:

Well played, sir.
