Last weekend's dust-up between the Crew and D.C. United didn't go unnoticed by the MLS Disciplinary Committee.
On Friday it issued an official warning to the Crew and D.C. for violating the league’s mass confrontation policy in the 72nd minute of their game on April 19. It was both teams' first violation of the season. The Committee identified Columbus Crew midfielder Bernardo Añor as an individual who instigated/escalated the incident and fined him an undisclosed amount (VIDEO).
In addition, MLS Commissioner Don Garber fined Chivas USA head coach Wilmer Cabrera an undisclosed amount for public criticism of the officials after the April 19 game against the Seattle Sounders FC.
