How can a soccer ball help families without electricity?
SOCCKET, a fun, clean energy tool, is a soccer ball that functions as a portable generator. Just one (1) hour of play will provide hours of light for a family in need.
To celebrate Earth Day, MLS WORKS in conjunction with Music for Relief, will offer twitter followers the unique opportunity to assist families with little or no access electricity around the world. MLS WORKS will donate SOCCKET balls by Uncharted Play on behalf of their followers.
The promotion will run throughout the day on April 22nd. MLS WORKS followers that tweet how they create a cleaner, healthier environment and include the hashtag #GreenerGoals will have a SOCCKET donated on their behalf.
What is a SOCCKET & how does it work?
The SOCCKET is a portable, power generating soccer ball designed to promote physical activity and spread awareness about the global energy problem.
The SOCCKET gets charged up during normal game play. The more the ball rolls, the more power that's generated. The SOCCKET is designed to power the energy efficent, 3-LED lamp. To access the power, pull back the rubber stopper, and plug the lamo down into the center of the ball.
