MLS Disciplinary Committee suspends Toronto FC's Steven Caldwell, fines Colorado's Drew Moor

NEW YORK – The MLS Disciplinary Committee announced Wednesday that it has suspended Toronto FC defender Steven Caldwell one game and fined him an undisclosed amount for serious foul play that endangers the safety of an opponent against Real Salt Lake midfielder Ned Grabavoy in the 34th minute of the game on March 29 (video above).

It is the second time in as many weeks that the Committee has handed down a suspension to a TFC player, after Jackson was suspended for one game last week.

The Committee has also fined Colorado Rapids defender Drew Moor an undisclosed amount for his actions towards Sporting Kansas City forward Claudio Bieler that violated the League’s policy regarding hands to the face/head of an opponent in the 40th minute of the game on March 29 (WATCH IT HERE).
