Similar to what they've done with their first team squad, the LA Galaxy have made only some slight tweaks to their new 2014 primary jersey unveiled on Monday on the official club site.
But the changes are immediately evident on first glance.
The sash that is the distinguishing characteristic of the LA Galaxy primary kit has a new look: Instead of the quasars that were the new addition to last year's sash, this year's edition is meant to reflect movement with 11 stripes symbolizing the starting XI players on the field.
The quasar design is, however, preserved in the new neck tape. Also, the “This Is LA” fan-inspired team slogan is featured in 3-D on the jock tag.
Every MLS team is unveiling new jerseys as part of 2014 Jersey Week, which is being held from March 3-7 in the lead-up to the start of the new season on Saturday, March 8.
