KOBAYASHI TRAINING WITH REVS: Speaking of New England, the Vancouver Whitecaps announced Friday that midfielder Daigo Kobayashi, who played for the 'Caps in 2013 but is currently out of contract, has left their training camp ahead of the Rose City Invitational tournament in Portland and is now training with the Revolution in Arizona.
Though the Japanese playmaker isn't under contract, the Whitecaps note they own his MLS rights. So if the new arrangement works out, we may see a deal between these clubs at some point.
