American Exports: Alejandro Bedoya and Nantes suffer 5-0 defeat at the hands of Paris Saint-Germain

AMSTERDAM – A pair of Americans ended up on the wrong side of European results on Sunday, with Alejandro Bedoya and visiting Nantes suffering through a 5-0 lesson from rampant Ligue 1 holders Paris Saint-Germain.

The US international entered as an injury sub on the half hour with the Canaries already down one. Bedoya put in a decent relief shift, but with PSG owning 72 percent of the possession, Nantes lost for the third time in four away games to remain in sixth place.

Across the border in Belgium's Jupiler League, Sacha Kljestan returned from injury to work the second half of a 2-1 defeat at Mechelen. The champs led after just two minutes thanks to Andy Najar's European account opener, but would leak a goal in each half to slip to seven points off the top.
