Robinson was reportedly one of five finalists for the job. The 'Caps, according to reports in The Province, also talked with former USMNT manager Bob Bradley, former Montreal Impact coach Jesse Marsch, fromer Toronto FC coach Preki and US U-17 national team coach Richie Williams.
