AMSTERDAM – It was another 0-0 draw for Stoke City on Saturday, but at least USMNT supporters have something to get excited about.

Potters right back Geoff Cameron was effective at both ends of the field in the scoreless result at Hull City.

The former Houston Dynamo man went close to scoring from a corner kick scramble midway through the opening frame, and twice watched saves by Hull netminder Allan McGregor deny Peter Crouch at the end of his cross after the break. The 13th-place Potters have just one defeat in their last seven games.

Across the border in Ligue 1, Nantes attacker Alejandro Bedoya worked an active 74 minutes in a disappointing 2-1 loss against guests Toulouse.

The US international was most dangerous in the first half, when he nodded off the woodwork with one of this three shot attempts. The defeat cost Nantes a chance at moving clear into fourth place, leaving them vulnerable to three Sunday contestants.
