Wow! What a game.
The MLS Cup final might not have worked out exactly how you had hoped or predicted, but it probably wasn't too far off.
Two popular selections scored goals and two more provided the assists. The high score was 75 points and the maximum score was just three points more – 78 points. If you scored in the 70s, job well done!
Five players made the Dream Team from Real Salt Lake and six made it from Sporting KC, although more could've made it from both squads. Fourteen players tallied four points or more.

Defenders (5)
If you were looking to achieve the best score possible five defenders was the way to go. Since both teams conceded one goal apiece there wasn't much room to benefit one way or another.
Lawrence Olum and Nat Borchers were the low scorers on this week's defensive unit with four points each while fullbacks Chris Wingert and Chance Myers tallied one better. Wingert received credit for a clean sheet, leaving the game due to injury before SKC got their equalizer.
Aurelien Collin was the top defender and the second-best option for captain. His 10-point effort puts him at 220 on the season – 15 points more than the next closest player.
Midfielders (4)
Graham Zusi (a.k.a. Captain Fantasy) lived up to the hype. His 12 points were the best of any player this round. Zusi tied his league-high in key passes and finished one shy of his league-high in crosses as well.
Kyle Beckerman was the fourth-highest scorer with eight points, while Benny Feilhaber and Ned Grabavoy rounded out this group with four points each.
Forwards (1)
The only forward worth owning this round was Alvaro Saborio. The Costa Rican striker sat out both legs of the Western Conference Championship with a hip injury, but he was back in full force for the final game of the year, going the full 120 and then some before missing his penalty in the shootout.
Jimmy Nielsen – (4 points)
Both Jimmy Nielsen and Nick Rimando finished with four points, so you couldn't go wrong either way. Rimando made more saves, but Nielsen had more recoveries.
