More than two months after German forward Miroslav Klose revealed he received "two very good offers" from MLS, reports on Tuesday seem to indicate he's made up his mind.
A report in Italian daily Corriere della Sera claims that the Germany international, who plays for Lazio in the Serie A, will be signing a pre-contract with the LA Galaxy in January, six months before his contract expires in Italy.
The Galaxy, however, say "not so fast."
"There is no truth to the report that the LA Galaxy are close to signing Klose," a team spokesman informed MLSsoccer.com via e-mail.
The 35-year-old Klose has two goals in nine Serie A appearances this season, but has been sitting out recent matches due to a right shoulder injury.
