Somehow, someone, somewhere, got the idea that the above goal-celebrating tribute of Wolverhampton forward Leigh Griffiths was intended to honor Brian the dog, who, in case you haven't heard (SPOILER ALERT), was killed off during last weekend's episode of Family Guy.
We know that people actually believed this for a time because the player's club were forced to clarify through the team's official Twitter account following a 2-0 victory over Tranmere on Tuesday.
Oh, the things that people will believe if you tell it to them.
So more than one person and/or television character in the world has been given the name Brian. Huh, who knew?
