Report: Aurelien Collin suggests he could leave Sporting KC this winter

Aurelien Collin has clearly been wronged by the ref

Aurelien Collin has been a huge part of Sporting KC's playoff success the past few years, including two important goals so far this year. But, with one year left on his contract, he could be on his way out of Kansas City, according to a Q&A he has done with France Football

"I have a year, and of course I want to return to Europe," the native of the Paris suburbs said. "The major European leagues interest me. Large MLS clubs like New York or Los Angeles are interested in me, but my ambition is to play at a good level in Europe as soon as this winter."

For a move to happen this winter, Sporting KC would have to sell Collin. At this point, there are no reported links with any clubs in Europe or any reports confirming Collin's assertion of interest from the New York Red Bulls or LA Galaxy.

Collin, 27, spent four years bouncing around Europe, including stints at Scottish club Gretna, Greek club Panserraikos, and Portuguese club Vitoria Setubal, before joining Sporting KC in 2011.

After his comments first appeared in the English press, Collin responded on Twitter.
