Montreal Impact's night goes from bad to worse after Marco Di Vaio, Andres Romero ejected in ugly fracas

The 3-0 scoreline was ugly enough for the 10-man Montreal Impact. But with time winding down, frustrations boiled over in the Impact ranks to give an already forgettable day an ignominious end.

It all started when the Impact's Andrés Romero fouled Kofi Sarkodie, who was holding the ball up in his own corner, before kicking out at Sarkodie after the play had been whistled dead. That sparked a wild fracas that even saw Dynamo head coach Dominic Kinnear get involved to try and prevent any of his players from seeing red.

When the dust had settled though, Kinnear had his wish when only Romero and Marco Di Vaio – who was seen repeatedly seen raising his hands to the Dynamo players' faces – saw red, leaving the Impact to play out the final seconds of a miserable evening with eight men.

What did you make of the final fracas? Did Romero and Di Vaio deserve red? Should any of the Dynamo players besides Corey Ashe (who saw yellow) been punished for their roles in the melee? Watch for yourself...
