Think the postseason pressure is weighing heavily on Sporting Kansas City after consecutive playoff failures and an expecting fanbase?
That's certainly not the case for Sporting KC and US national team defender Matt Besler, who showed up to the team's training facility on Thursday and shut down the best MLS player Halloween costume contest before anyone else even had a chance to do their thing.
Besler strolled in dressed as his longtime center-back-partner-turned-French-fashion-mogul Aurelien Collin. This is what you would consider "all-in" on a Halloween costume; scarf, thigh-length sweater, slim-tight pants, trendy lifestyle shoes, gold necklace with a knit cap to top it all off.
Great Halloween joke? Absolutely yes, but something tells me that Besler won't be starting his own clothing line like Collin's anytime soon.
