New workout plan: Kanye West wants to serve as daughter North's youth soccer coach | SIDELINE

Hip-hop mogul Kanye West has become a global icon with 21 Grammy awards and five platinum-selling albums over the past decade.

But to hear him tell it, one of his next major life goals involves a humbler role on the youth soccer sidelines of Southern California.

“I want to figure out a way to do my work and be my daughter’s soccer coach,” West told Los Angeles radio station 97.1 AMP this week.

West recently got engaged to his longtime partner, reality-television star Kim Kardashian, and the duo have a four-month-old daughter named North West, who apparently has a career in the beautiful game ahead of her.

Not only does “Yeezus” want to find a work/life balance that allows him to help her develop her game, he also plans to put his keen fashion sense to work on the team kits – and perhaps even on the unofficial vehicle of soccer moms across the continent.

“I’m going to be a soccer coach and redesign their uniforms. I’ll redesign the minivan,” said West.

West proposed to Kardashian via an elaborate VIP event last week at AT&T Park, home of baseball's San Francisco Giants. No word yet on whether that choice of venue was a backup plan forced on him by the construction delays on the new soccer-specific stadium being built for the San Jose Earthquakes an hour's drive to the south.
