It's that time of year again. With the dust settling on the regular season and 845 goals in the books in 2013, the annual exercise of picking the year's best goal can start, and once again it's up to you, the fans!

This year's AT&T Goal of the Year contest will look similar to those in years past, with a fan vote narrowing the field of 64 of 2013's best goals down to 32, 16, then 4 and finally to the year's top goal.

Voting will kick off on Wednesday at noon ET, with four groups of four being released every two days until the the conclusion of the First Round on Nov. 6. The final three rounds will run throughout the month of November until the conclusion of the final round on Nov. 29. The winner will be announced on Dec. 5.

It will take something special to claim this year's crown, just like this amazing effort from Darlington Nagbe in 2011, and some spectacular acrobatics from Patrick Ianni in 2012. (And if that flying volley doesn't satisfy your appetite, don't worry – you'll see a few of those this year.)

Finally, be sure to check out and bookmark MLSsoccer.com's 2013 AT&T Goal of the Year homepage for links to all the latest goals when they are released, a full schedule, and an explanation of the voting process.
