American Exports: Michael Bradley back in AS Roma squad for Friday Serie A match vs. Napoli

Michael Bradley's back.

After sitting out over a month with a sprained left ankle, AS Roma manager Rudi Garcia included Bradley in his 23-man squad list for Friday's crunch Serie A match-up against Napoli (2:30 pm ET, beIN Sport en Español).

Roma have a perfect 7-0-0 record and sit atop the Italian top flight, but second-place Napoli (6-0-1,19 pts.) can still overtake the Giallorossi with a win at the Stadio Olimpico.

Bradley suffered the Grade 2 ankle sprain in the final stages of warmups ahead of the US national team's World Cup qualifier in Costa Rica on September 7. He went on to miss the US' last four qualifiers.

It remains to be seen whether Bradley can win back a starting spot with Roma.

Garcia has reiterated on multiple occasions that Bradley is one of the team's pillars, but the former MLS player has made just one start this season -- the opening-day victory over Livorno (Aug. 25) -- and he came off the bench for a 20-minute cameo vs. Hellas Verona on Sept. 1 before reporting for USMNT duty.

And Roma has been on a roll to start the season with Miralem Pjanic, Kevin Strootman and Daniele De Rossi becoming the regular selections for Garcia in midfield.
