The goalscorers showed up for Round 33 of MLS Fantasy in what was one of the higher-scoring weeks of late. The high score jumped from 85 points to 113 points and the average score increased as well (44 to 48).
Eight teams were represented on this week’s Dream Team. The Portland Timbers, LA Galaxy and Chicago Fire had multiple selections.

Defenders (4)
Five teams recorded clean sheets in Round 33, but the top two defenders didn't stop there. Bakary Soumare and Ike Opara ended with the same score line this week: clean sheets (1), minutes played (90), goals scored (1), defending bonus (1) for a total of 13 points.
Jermaine Taylor and Jeff Parke round out the defensive unit with similar stat lines: 90 minutes played, three defending bonus points and a clean sheet.
Drew Moor (9 points) scored a goal in Colorado's 5-1 route over Seattle, but it wasn't enough to earn him a spot on the DT this week.
Midfielders (3)
The midfielders were slightly more impressive than the defenders in Round 33. Heck, this is where the top player resides, too.
Landon Donovan had to leave his mark on MLS before departing for international duty. His 17 points came at the hands of Chivas USA in what turned out to be one of the best all-around performances from the LA Galaxy this season. He is a must-add when he returns.
Portland Teammates Will Johnson and Darlington Nagbe accounted for both Timbers goals in their 2-2 tie with Vancouver. Johnson assisted Nagbe and then Nagbe assisted Johnson. Both players are solid options going forward and will not lose value with players departing for national team duty.
Forwards (4)
The forwards were hot this week, but it wasn't the veterans leading the way. Gyasi Zardes and Deshorn Brown made a statement that the young guns should not be overlooked.
Camilo Sanvezzo added two goals of his own, and in rather brilliant fashion. He has to be on your radar down the stretch.
Goalkeeper – Sean Johnson (9 points)
Three goalkeepers shared top honors this week, but Sean Johnson gets to claim it. The Chicago Fire youngster was impressive in the team's 3-0 victory over the Montreal Impact at home.
Congratulations to Mike Godfrey (star wars nut) who finished Round 33 with 113 points. Mike had five players from this week’s DT in his Starting XI: Jeff Parke, Darlington Nagbe, Landon Donovan, Deshorn Brown and Camilo Sanvezzo. His captain was Landon Donovan!
