AMSTERDAM – A trio of Americans suited up for Europa League duty on Thursday, with Terrence Boyd going all 90 as Rapid Vienna rallied from two down to earn a 2-2 share with Group G visitors Dinamo Kyiv.

The young forward, who saw yellow during the match, went nearest to scoring when he flashed a header just wide of frame in the 54th minute. Thanks to their two goals over the final 37 minutes, Rapid stayed in a third-place deadlock with the Ukrainian powers.

Elsewhere, Aron Jóhannsson's AZ Alkmaar were forced to settle for a 1-1 Group L draw after leaking a stoppage-time equalizer to Greek guests PAOK.

The US forward was unable to put any of his five shots on frame, with the closest an early second half header off the bar. The Cheese Farmers remained in second place behind PAOK, but only by virtue of the goals scored tiebreaker.

Also, Brad Friedel served as Tottenham backup for a 2-0 victory away to Russian outfit Anzhi Makhachkala. The result lifts Spurs four points clear at the top through two rounds of play.
