Vancouver Whitecaps forward Kenny Miller has a problem with bears. It's not that he doesn't like the beastly animal — not that we're aware of, at least — but that this particular one seems to love hanging out in his backyard.

For a man with a wife and two small children, that's a serious problem.

While Miller was – we assume – on the road with his teammates in San Jose last Friday, his wife, Laura, alerted the entire world to the family's backyard black bear problem with the above and below tweets.

She watched the bear break into the backyard by way of the garage and then proceed to climb atop the family's large privacy fence surrounding the property. Imagine the horror, not to mention fearing for your life and your little ones in that situation.

Like, what if the bear had fallen off the fence? It could have been seriously hurt. What was it thinking when it climbed up there? You're a bear, bear. Not a nimble little cat or a squirrel.
