Every year, a whole crop of accomplished young players enter Major League Soccer via the MLS SuperDraft, ready to live the dream as a bonafide, full-time professional soccer player.
For the vast majority, that arrival is followed by a very loud wake-up call. Roster spots are tough to come by, legit minutes even tougher.
A few make it look like they've been here for years.
New England Revolution defender Andrew Farrell, the Colorado Rapids duo of Deshorn Brown and Dillon Powers and Real Salt Lake forward Devon Sandoval fall into the latter category.
