VIDEO: Uri Rosell on FC Barcelona, life in Kansas City and good BBQ | SIDELINE

Uri Rosell eats BBQ during interview

The above video interview was filmed at the best BBQ joint in all of America, Oklahoma Joe's BBQ, during MLS All-Star festivities and offers — for our Spanish-speaking readers — some great insight into the mind and personality of Sporting Kansas City midfielder Oriol "Uri" Rosell.

For those that aren't familiar with Rosell, not only is he highly regarding for having come from the famed La Masia youth academy at FC Barcelona, but the 21-year-old Spanish midfielder has quickly taken to the more physical, very different style of play — which he talks about at length in the interview — in Major League Soccer.

Rosell has started 25 or Sporting's 26 games this season (one game suspended for yellow-card accumulation) and has become a vitally important piece of head coach Peter Vermes' playoff puzzle. On top of being a full-time starter for one of MLS' top teams, he recently enrolled in business classes at the University of Missouri-Kansas City, something that played a part in his decision to sign with Sporting and move to America last August.

You'll surely be hearing more about Rosell when the 2013 results for MLSsoccer.com's 24 Under 24 series begin on September 16.
