MLS Fantasy: How will World Cup Qualifiers and suspensions affect your strategy in the coming weeks?

MLS Fantasy: Landon Donovan and Clint Dempsey with USMNT

Jason Saghini and Andrew Wiebe talk Fantasy Cup and must-haves in Starting Lineup (above)

The stress level for several MLS Fantasy owners shot up a few levels with the announcement of Jurgen Klinsmann's US men's national team roster for the upcoming CONCACAF World Cup Qualifiers. And for good reason.

All international call-ups will participate in MLS Fantasy Round 28 (Aug. 30 - Sept. 1), but depart for their respective clubs shortly after. None of the players named below will be available in Round 29 so keep this in mind when finalizing your roster.

World Cup Qualifiers will take place September 6-10 so all players should be back in time to compete in MLS Fantasy Round 30 (Sept. 11-14). Whether or not they return injury-free still remains to be seen.
