Dream Team formation: (3-4-3)

Top Player: Landon Donovan – 19 points

Defenders (3)

No one was smart enough to predict this surprise 13-point performance from Philadelphia's Fabio Alves Macedo. Fabinho was the only defender to reach double-digits this week. FC Dallas' Matt Hedges scored a goal in a 3-3 draw with the LA Galaxy, while Josh Williams helped the Columbus Crew get back on track with a shutout win against the New York Red Bulls. Chad Marshall also joined Hedges and Williams with a nine-point performance, but was left off the DT this week.

Midfielders (4)

Landon Donovan didn't run away with MVP honors this week, but his 19-point effort was a few points better than Columbus's Federico Higuain and two points better than his previous best of 17 points on May 15. Nigel Reo-Coker (11 points) and Jonathan Osorio (9 points) made the DT for the first time this season. Rounding out this foursome was Philadelphia's Sebastien Le Toux (10 points), who now has a league-leading five DT appearances among midfielders in 2013.

Forwards (3)

Four forwards had two-goal performances this weekend; Federico Higuain, Kei Kamara, Conor Casey and Blas Perez. With only three spots up for grabs, Perez was turned away. Kamara added a (defending) bonus point to end the week with 13 points. Higuain on the other hand, garnered multiple bonus points, in route to a 16-point effort. Here's a look at his second goal from Saturday. Is it Goal of the Week caliber? Vote now!

Goalkeeper – Dan Kennedy (11 points)

Dan Kennedy stopped a penalty kick and could've possibly recorded his third shutout on the season had Chivas USA not lost two players due to red cards. In the end, it was his four bonus points that helped him edge out Vancouver's David Ousted (10 points) for the top spot. This is Kennedy's first DT appearance of 2013.

Congratulations to Fire Burner (Im not Shuttleworthy) who finished Round 25 with 106 points. Burner had four players from this week’s DT in his Starting XI: Landon Donovan, Conor Casey, Sebastien Le Toux and Federico Higuain. His Captain was Le Toux.

*Dream Team subject to change. All point totals are finalized Wednesday for Rounds ending on Sunday
