AMSTERDAM – Three Americans took to the field under Friday night lights across the pond, with Bobby Wood setting up the opener in 1860 Munich's 2-1 win at Fortuna Düsseldorf.

Nine minutes in, the reported US call-up accepted a long throw in the area before teeing up Benjamin Lauth from close range. It was Wood's second assist in four competitive games on the young campaign.

Through three matches, the Lions are level on points with the 2.Bundesliga leaders, but stand fourth on goal differential.

Across the border in Denmark, Babajide Ogunbiyi made his first start since returning to Viborg in a 2-2 home share with Brøndby. Despite an active shift from the defender, including two clearances near time, the visitors were able to pull out the draw in stoppage time.

Over in the Dutch second flight, Charles Kazlauskas went the distance at right back as Helmond Sport droped a 2-1 derby decision to FC Eindhoven.
