AT&T Goal of the Week: Week 23

The current race for AT&T Goal of the Week is a tight one, with last Saturday's golazo by Seattle Sounders hitman Obafemi Martins holding a narrow, four-point advantage over the top-corner poke from the Houston Dynamo's Cam Weaver with just over half a day to go.

San Jose Earthquakes star Chris Wondolowski is running a bit further back in third place and his header against Chivas USA will need a dramatic late rally to catch up with the frontrunners, while Jonny Steele and Conor Doyle are at the back of the pack. Here’s how the voting stands at 1 pm ET on Thursday, with 14 hours left to cast your vote.

  1. Obafemi Martins (SEA) 34.8%
  2. Cam Weaver (HOU) 30.8%
  3. Chris Wondolowski (SJ) 17.65%
  4. Jonny Steele (NY) 10.78%
  5. Conor Doyle (DC) 5.97%

The winner is determined by the total number of votes cast online and in text voting, and is announced on Fridays.
