Paolo DelPiccolo will play for the Montreal Impact, after all.

Six months after opting to go to Europe instead of MLS, DelPiccolo signed a deal with the Impact on Friday. Montreal had initially selected the 22-year-old midfielder in the second round of this year's MLS SuperDraft but DelPiccolo chose to sign with German Bundesliga club Eintracht Frankfurt instead of the Impact.

A former Louisville standout, DelPiccolo began training with the Impact on June 3 following the conclusion of the Eintracht Frankfurt's season and has scored in two MLS Reserve League games. Prior to that, he had one assist in seven matches for Eintracht Frankfurt's second team.

Per league policy, terms of the deal were not disclosed.
