Gold Cup: San Jose Earthquakes defender Nana Attakora added to Canadian roster

Canadian national team defender Nana Attakora

The Canadian national team has added San Jose Earthquakes defender Nana Attakora to complete its 23-man Gold Cup roster.


In addition to finalizing the roster for the tournament, the Canadian Soccer Association announced that the team will play friendly against the Ventura County Fusion of the USL-PDL on July 2 in Oxnard, Calif.


After Canada open the tournament against Martinique on July 7 at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, Calif., they head to Seattle to play Mexico at CenturyLink Field on July 11 before wrapping up the group stage against Panama in Denver on July 14.
