ISTANBUL – Estoril free agent attacker Tony Taylor will arrive on Monday for a medical exam with Cypriot bronze medalists AC Omonia.

The 23-year-old will ink a two-year deal with the capital side, who hold an invite to the Europa League second qualifying round, upon completion of the check-up.

"He is very excited," Taylor's agent, Carlos Gonçalves, told MLSsoccer.com. "There are some Portuguese players there that he knows, and even though the league is smaller, it will be good for him to be able to play some games in Europe."

Taylor scored once in 13 Liga ZON Sagres matches for Estoril last season, having hit five in 17 games during their promotion campaign the year before.

Omonia are waiting to learn their 2013-14 schedule, slated to begin in late August, as they pursue their 21st league title. The Shamrock, as they are known in Nicosia, will learn their Europa League qualifying fate in Monday's draw.
