Thierry Henry's soccer career has taken him all over the world — from his native France, to Italy, England, Spain, and now the United States, with multiple stops at World Cups along the way. According to reports from South America on Tuesday, he may now be somewhere more well-known for its annual flower parade — Medellín, Colombia.
Henry reportedly embarked upon a short training stint with Categoría Primera A side Atlético Nacional this week. New York will not play another league game until June 23.
Former Red Bulls teammate Juan Pablo Ángel is currently with the Colombian club and visited Red Bull Arena for Saturday's 2-1 loss to the Vancouver Whitecaps. The Colmbian foward also took part in a training session last week during his visit.
