U.S. Soccer announced on Monday afternoon that injuries have forced midfielder Maurice Edu and left back Corey Ashe to withdraw from the US national team camp in Cleveland.

Ashe featured for the Houston Dynamo in Sunday's draw at Sporting KC, and picked up a groin strain in the first half of the match. He was replaced by Mike Chabala at halftime.

Edu, who this season has been on loan with Turkish side Bursaspor, was diagnosed with a sports hernia after he returned to his club, Stoke City, at the end of the season.

The USMNT is set to take on Belgium on Wednesday (8 pm ET, ESPN2, live chat on MLSsoccer.com) before traveling to Washington to face Germany on Sunday (2:30 pm ET, ESPN2, live chat on MLSsoccer.com).
