American Exports: AS Roma turn away Hellas Verona in talks for Michael Bradley

Roma's Michael Bradley and Lazio's Hernanes

AMSTERDAM – Recently promoted Serie A side Hellas Verona have had an approach to land US national team midfielder Michael Bradley rejected by AS Roma, MLSsoccer.com has learned.

A source close to the situation divulged that Hellas Verona came to Roma this week looking to negotiate a loan deal with purchase option, only to be told by the Giallorossi that the matter was not open for discussion.

Bradley, who is expected to play a part in Sunday's Coppa Italia final against arch enemy Lazio, has solidly worked 34 contests this term. The US midfielder arrived last summer from Chievo, the local rivals of Hellas Verona.
