Seattle Sounders midfielder Brad Evans has been added to the US men's national team roster for its upcoming slate of games, U.S. Soccer announced on Tuesday.

The US will play a series of five games in the coming weeks – a pair of friendlies against Belgium (May 29) and Germany (June 2) followed by World Cup qualifiers at Jamaica (June 7), vs. Panama (June 11) and vs. Honduras (June 18).

Evans currently has seven caps for the USMNT and has yet to score a goal. He has one goal for the Sounders on the season and picked up his first two assists of 2013 in Seattle's 4-2 win over FC Dallas on Saturday evening. He has started seven of the Sounders' 10 games this year.

The June 11 qualifier vs. Panama will afford Evans – and Sounders teammate Eddie Johnson – a chance to play for the USMNT in front of their hometown fans at CenturyLink Field.
