He might just be the most influential player in Major League Soccer, and Sporting Kansas City's Graham Zusi earned the vote as such on Monday after being named the league's Player of the Week for Round 10 as voted by the North American Soccer Reporters.

Zusi led Sporting's 4-0 demolition of Chivas USA on Sunday, scoring once and adding an assist as Kansas City rose into a four-way tie for first atop the Eastern Conference. See how the North American Soccer Reporters voted here.

The US national team midfielder applied a one-time finish to bury Josh Gardner's cross in the 65th minute and set up striker Claudio Bieler for the game's opening goal. Zusi left after 67 minutes with Kansas City up 3-0, with manager Peter Vermes presumably saving his star for a midweek game vs. Seattle.

Since the start of the 2011 season, Zusi has scored 13 goals and distributed 26 assists in 73 regular-season games for Sporting KC. He has three goals and four assists thus far in 2013.
