Herculez Gomez has Twitter figured out. So much so that he's raking in swag one tweet at a time.
Rather than providing the play-by-play rundown behind the process that landed the Santos Laguna forward a free pillow from Seattle Sounders GM Adrian Hanauer ahead of Tuesday night's CONCACAF Champions League semifinal, here's Gomez explaining the situation followed by the tweets that made it happen:
“I thought it would funny to go on [Twitter] and say, ‘I’ll stop with the banter if you can deliver this pillow.’ I even gave him the product number. A few days ago, before our game against Querétaro, I literally get a box and it’s a pillow from Adrian Hanauer. It was like, ‘Touche. Well played.”
