MLS Fantasy: Introducing a new fantasy stats section

MLS Fantasy Soccer: Manager 2013: Top five players at each position

Becoming a champion in MLS Fantasy Soccer: Manager is by no means an easy task. It takes proper planning, roster management, research and dedication amongst other things. But the main concept that drives the entire fantasy sports industry boils down to one word: stats.

In fantasy, statistics are gold. Without them, you’d have to go on pure intuition when picking your squad or deciding which player to start or understanding why one player made the Week 2 Dream Team and another didn't. And while you might manage to get lucky now and then, in the long run, you'd fail miserably.

We don't want that to happen, do we? So today, we're introducing a whole new stats section in FS:M.

Here, you'll find out things like which fantasy manager is having the best month and which players are in top form on a week-to-week basis.

(NOTE: The Best Leagues and Best Fan groups are determined by the average of their top five values. For example, the ExtraTime Radio league, which currently tops the league rankings, has the highest average among the top private leagues, while Sporting KC members do the same in the supporters league.)

It’s a great feature that will let you dig deeper and, hopefully, win more points.

Here's a sample of what you can find out. The table below shows the top 15 players based on form (average points per game over the past 30 days):
