The New York Red Bulls didn't veer much off the path with their new 2013 primary jerseys unveiled on Monday night at a special event held at Chelsea Piers in Manhattan.

RBNY are one of 12 MLS teams releasing new-look kits this week as part of the first edition of MLS Jersey Week. Beginning next year, every MLS club will have at least one new kit during Jersey Week.

New York maintain the clean look of their white primary kit from 2012 with a few changes. This year, the RBNY primary jersey has a distinct red collar and a red cut on the sleeves, along with a dash of red on the torso framing the club logo.

Fans can preorder the new jerseys at the following link. The Red Bull Arena Bullshop is also carrying the jersey.

"It's all about the new lightweight fabric that we've been working on as a company," said Mike Walker, product manager at adidas. "We took out the stitching around the hems so it's really lightweight and it's bonded."

The club keeps its main logo featured on the front and the words "Red Bulls" embossed on the neck collar and in large font on the lower back.

The Red Bulls will keep the same secondary kits used last season.

"The great thing working with Red Bull is that they're a global brand as well," Walker said. "And we made sure that the five Red Bull teams kind of look alike as much as we can within the different leagues."
