PUEBLA, Mexico – FC Dallas ‘keeper Richard Sanchez started and went the full 90 minutes as Mexico cruised past Curaçao 3-0 in their opening game CONCACAF U-20 Championship in Puebla on Tuesday.

Monterrey’s Jesús Corona scored twice and Pachuca phenom Marco Bueno added the third goal, all of which came in the first half. Fans inside the Estadio Cuauhtémoc ended the game booing the host team for apparently taking their foot off the gas.
Sanchez was largely a bystander against minnows Curaçao in the Group D clash, but looked comfortable between the posts and did produce a top save in the 83rd minute, when he showed sharp reflexes to turn a rare shot on goal around the post.
Mexico also fielded Texas native Uvaldo Luna, who provided an assist for El Tri’s second from his right wing position.
