US Under-20 national team head coach Tab Ramos added Jerome Kiesewetter to his CONCACAF U-20 Championship roster on Monday, giving the young Yanks some firepower up front.

The 20-year-old Kiesewetter, a Berlin native, has been part of the US youth set-up since 2011 and has seven caps at the U-20 level, including during last October's Marbella Cup tournament. The dual US-German national plays for the reserve team of Bundesliga club VfB Stuttgart, which competes in the German third division.

Ramos' US roster now stands at 19 players and, according to US Soccer, a 20th player will be added before the U-20 Championship kicks off on Feb. 17. The US open their tournament, which doubles as CONCACAF qualifying for this summer's FIFA U-20 World Cup, on Feb. 18 against Haiti in Puebla, Mexico.
