Report: USMNT top Tijuana 3-0 in closed-door scrimmage

Jurgen Klinsmann and Martin Vasquez

It was a closed-door scrimmage and neither media nor fans were invited. Yet scant details are emerging from what was an apparent 3-0 victory by the US national team over Club Tijuana's reserves on Tuesday at the Home Depot Center.

According to a tweet from Aaron Maines, director of global soccer at the Wasserman Media Group, Jurgen Klinsmann's January campers defeated the Liga MX side thanks to three second-half goals: a brace from Houston's Will Bruin and another goal from Philadelphia Union defender Jeff Parke

US Soccer wasn't immediately available for comment on Tuesday night. In the meantime, check out the photo that accompanied Maines' tweet.
