The countdown has come to a close.
After two weeks of whittling down the MLS' best young prospects into the 24 best and brightest talents, the top spot in this year's 24 Under 24 series was announced today, as Vancouver Whitecaps FC rookie sensation Darren Mattocks took home top honors.
As part of the 2012 24 Under 24 series, Major League Soccer will host a live Google+ hangout with both Mattocks and this year's no. 2 selection (and reigning 2011 Rookie of the Year) C.J. Sapong of Sporting Kansas City.
Beginning at 4:30 pm ET, Mattocks and Sapong will answer your questions in the 30-minute question-and-answer session.
