Michael Orozco Fiscal celebrates his winner vs. Mexico

GUADALAJARA, Mexico – Six happy US internationals returned to Liga MX sides straight from the famous 1-0 win in Estadio Azteca on Wednesday, but it's back down to domestic business this weekend.


First up on Friday is Club Tijuana, with Edgar Castillo in doubt for the game against Jonathan Bornstein's Tigres UANL in Estadio Caliente (8:30 pm ET, Univision Deportes). Castillo went 76 minutes with the US against Mexico and Tijuana head coach Antonio Mohamed has told the press the left back may not be risked from the start.


Joe Corona and Greg Garza are in contention for the Xolos.


DaMarcus Beasley and his Puebla side face the tough task of trying to get their first win of the Apertura season away against Morelia, also Friday (10:30 pm ET, ESPN Deportes).


Santos Laguna lost 3-0 to León last weekend and Herculez Gomez's side will be hoping for a positive response against Pumas UNAM on Saturday (8 pm ET, TeleFutura). Gomez now has a little extra competition with losGuerreros, with striker Oribe Peralta returning from Mexico's Olympic team.


Straight after that game, US goalscoring hero Michael Orozco Fiscal (above) is in action for San Luis in a massive game for the club against Jesús Padilla's Guadalajara. Neither team has recorded a win so far this season (10 pm ET, Univision Deportes).


To wrap up the weekend action in the Liga MX, José Torres' Pachuca travel on Sunday to league leaders Toluca, trying to end their perfect start to the season (1 pm ET, Univision, Univision Deportes).


Down in the Ascenso MX, Mérida's American duo of Sonny Guadarrama and Isaac Acuña travel to Estudiantes Tecos on Friday, while Marco Vidal's Lobos BUAP travel to La Piedad on Sunday.


In Colombia's top division, Kevin Piedrahita's Itaguí play away against Real Cartagena on Sunday, while in Venezuela, Diego Restrepo's Deportivo Táchira travel to Yaracuyanos, also Sunday.


Staying in South American, Jimmy Maurer's Universidad de Concepción face Cobreloa on Sunday.


Up in Central America, Derby Carrillo is in line for a third consecutive start for Santa Tecla against Altético Marte in El Salvador's Primera División on Sunday.
