AMSTERDAM – A pair of Americans clocked in overseas on Saturday night, with Michael Parkhurst helping FC Nordsjælland rally near time for a 1-1 draw at Aalborg BK.
The right back saw yellow for the second consecutive game, which ended with goals from both teams inside the final five minutes. Lasse Nielsen put Aalborg ahead on 85 minutes, only to have Joshua John level for the Wild Tigers three minutes later.
Over in Belgium, Sacha Kljestan worked the final 11 minutes as defending champs Anderlecht posted their first win of the season, 1-0 over guests Germinal Beerschot. The Mauves stand sixth and two points off the top through two rounds.
