Chicago's Johnson earns latest Save of the Week crown

Justice was done. Thanks to the fans.

Chicago Fire goalkeeper Sean Johnson stood on his head against the San Jose Earthquakes with numerous spectacular saves last weekend, and his best effort earned him the Save of the Week award for Week 21 as voted by the fans.

In the 59th minute of the 1-1 draw in San Jose, Johnson dipped low at his goal line to swat away a tricky downward header by Quakes forward Alan Gordon. The 23-year-old 'keeper timed his intervention perfectly, meeting the ball on the bounce for one of his 10 saves on the night.

The stop earned more than 52 percent of the fan vote, with Columbus Crew netminder Andy Gruenebaum finishing a distant second.

It was Johnson's second Save of the Week honor this season after earning his first one back in Week 10 (see the complete list of Save of the Week winners here).
