AMSTERDAM — The talks between Michael Bradley and AS Roma are down to fine print, as it appears the US national team star's move to the Eternal City is all but a done deal.
A source close to the talks told MLSsoccer.com that the personal terms are the final check item between Roma and the 24-year-old Chievo midfielder, with the club hoping to complete the transfer within the next couple of days.
Bradley recently rejected moves to both Fiorentina and Ligue 2 side Monaco, leaving Roma in prime position to close a deal for the World Cup veteran.
On Monday morning, Chievo technical director Giovanni Sartori told local outlet Gazzetta Giallorossi that Bradley was fully intent on the move to Roma, who agreed a fee for the hot topic American late last week.
"If they want him, they’ll get him," said Sartori. "Bradley wants only AS Roma and we’re working towards this."

In reaction to these comments, the MLSsoccer.com source re-affirmed that the feeling from Roma is mutual, with manager Zdenek Zeman insisting he needs Bradley in preseason camp before the squad leaves next week to kick off their US tour.
The three-time Serie A champs will play a trio of friendlies in America, starting with a July 22 date against Polish club Zaglebie Lubin in Chicago and continuing with a contest against the El Salvador national team at Red Bull Arena on July 27.
