US youth international Josh Gatt of Molde FK

AMSTERDAM – A handful of Americans suited up for club duty on Saturday afternoon, headlined by Josh Gatt notching a goal and an assist in Molde FK's 5-0 cruise through lowly Stabæk.

The champs rang up three goals inside the first 10 minutes, the last coming when Gatt capitalized on sloppy defense to pick the corner. Six minutes past the hour, the US wing prodigy ran the break to set up Davy Claude Angan for Molde's fourth.

Ricardo Clark and Sean Cunningham went the distance for winless Stabæk, who also got 75 minutes of left back relief from debutant Erik Benjaminsen. Meanwhile, Molde climbed to third place, one point off the top.

It was closing day over in Israel, where Leo Krupnik and Maccabi Netanya staged a furious 3-2 rally win over Bnei Sachin to claim the Ligat Ha'Al's final Europa League berth.

With his side already down one, the onetime New York Red Bulls defender committed the penalty foul that allowed to visitors to double their lead near halftime. Krupnik made up for it with a flick-on assist as the Diamonds got on the board in the 68th minute, and they hit twice more in the waning moments to pull off a fourth place miracle.
