Who is the best right back in MLS history?

On Thursday afternoon, longtime MLSer Frankie Hejduk officially announced his retirement. He will now join the front office of the Columbus Crew, the team he played with for eight seasons. He also played for the Tampa Bay Mutiny (1996-98)and the LA Galaxy (2011).

It's a career of impressive stats: 203 regular season matches, 25 goals, and two MLS Cup trophies (2008 and 2011).

Over the years, his surfer-dude attitude made him a fan favorite in Columbus, and his marauding, relentless style earned him 85 caps for the US national team. He appeared in the 1998 and 2002 World Cups for the US.

The question, as he hangs up his cleats for good, that must be asked now: Is Frankie Hejduk the best right back in MLS history?
