Accompanied by MLS Cup champion and former LA Galaxy legend Mauricio Cienfuegos, the Philip F. Anschutz trophy made a special appearance Sunday night at an MLS playoffs watch party in Hollywood, Fla., at Mickey Byrne’s Irish Pub. The event was hosted by the Miami Ultras supporters group.

The trophy is in South Florida to appear on several Spanish-language network television programs, such as Univsión’s Republica Deportiva and ESPN Deportes' Jorge Ramos y Su Banda.

“It was an incredible night, with a great turnout and an exciting game,” said Miami Ultras leader Ed Serrano. “It was wonderful to see the MLS Cup trophy in person and hopefully we can see a Miami team win it one day."

The trophy is scheduled to arrive in California on Wednesday, Nov. 9, at 11 am PT, when Alexi Lalas and Cienguegos host the official MLS Cup trophy arrival ceremony at the iconic Santa Monica Pier. The public is invited to attend the event and take photos with the Cup.
